Our Work

Vibrant Forest Landscapes are places that are productive, adaptable, and organize capital in ways that benefit both environmental conditions and well-being. In our work, we explore various dimensions of vibrant forest landscapes – how to maintain important ecological processes, what societal needs and values are, and how governance and market systems can best deliver social and environmental outcomes. While most of our work takes place at the landscape scale, we recognize that for change to occur, we need to work with policy-makers, industry, and organizations at multiple scales. We are continuously exploring new ways of sharing perspectives, generating dialogue, and building communities of practice for prosperity and forests. We are always growing our activities in the tropics – mainly in Indonesia and the Congo Basin.
